A summery pop: Woodwinked and bright liner
As it is getting warmer outside, most of us feel like we need to update our daily makeup routine. I've never been one to reach for the colorful eyeshadows. I am more of a neutral kinda' gal (unless we're talking about lips, I have a whole different mindset when it comes to lipstick, hence the name of my blog).
Mac eyeshadows are raved about by many and with very valuable reasons, I love them and Woodwinked eyeshadow is one of my favorites. It is a beautiful shimmery muted gold color that just adds warmth to your look. As for a subtle pop of color, I opted for a shimmery light turquoise eyeliner in the waterline. I went with Annabelle smoothliner in Urban Jungle, it's a long-lasting waterproof liner but it has one of the creamiest formula I've ever tried. I put Woodwinked all over the lid and blended in the crease with my trusty 217 and added a bit on the outer third of my bottom lashline and the blue eyeliner all the way across the waterline. Curled my lashes, poped two (or three...) coats of L'Oréal Voluminous mascara and there was my eye makeup done.
So if you're ever quite lazy but feeling quite summery I definitely recommend combining Woodwinked with a bright blue eyeliner.
Have you ever tried this look?
